What do I have to do?
1. Click 'Sell my items' to open your preloved closet. Your past online purchases from Kite Clothing are waiting there.
2. For items you didn't purchase online use the Item Selector on this page to add them to your preloved closet.
3. Select items to sell, or come back later when you're ready. We'll send you a label. You send the items to us. No listing, photographing or selling.
4. When we process your items, we pay you instant credit. Spend it on a Kite Clothing voucher, a voucher for another partner brand, or on thelittleloop's preloved collection.
p.s. We store the purchase price, the image, and size of each item. So when you come to trade it, there's absolutely no information to provide. And because we pay you instantly you won't have to wait for them to sell, or risk being haggled down to nothing :)
What about items which we didn't buy from Kite Clothing?
You can sell those too. Simply tell us about them in the closet then follow steps 3 and 4 above.
Anything we can't sell will be donated to our brilliant baby bank partners.
Is the Buy-Back value guaranteed?
The buy-back value we show in your online closet is based on a predicted item condition. We will asses your items' condition when we receive them. We promise to always judge fairly. In fact 79% of clothes we receive are rated good condition or better
How are trade-in prices calculated?
We calculate our resale prices using our pricing tool which looks at Brand, RRP, selling prices on other sites and the item's Condition. We pay you a share of that resale price - from 20% for items less than £5, to 50% for items over £35.
What happens to the clothes I return?
Every item is assessed by our expert team. If it is clean, wearable and from a brand we sell, you will automatically receive credit (see above for how we calculate credit). The item will then be steamed, and any defects photographed before being listed for sale.
Our conditions are:
- Brand new: Never worn and/or with tags
- Excellent: Like new, no imperfections.
- Very Good: Used a few times, but still looks great.
- Good: Obviously worn with some signs of wear but no significant stains or damage
- Satisfactory: Used a lot and may have minor stains or defects
If an item cannot be sold it will be recycled by our UK recycling partner.
