A beautifully soft jersey hat and two coordinating bonding squares make up this special set for babies born a little earlier than expected. Made in Kite’s signature soft organic cotton with bright, uplifting prints.

• Hat: Designed to provide warmth and comfort while avoiding any pressure points, this cosy little hat is both practical and adorable

• Bonding Squares: Used in neonatal units to support bonding between parents and their babies, these small fabric squares help exchange familiar scents. One square is kept with the baby and the other worn by the parent, with regular swaps to offer comfort and reassurance through scent connection

Developed in close collaboration with neonatal experts at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, our premature baby range has been thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of babies in neonatal care. Each piece considers the practicalities of feeding tubes, respiratory support, intravenous lines and developmental care strategies, which focus on neuro-protection by reducing unnecessary stress.

Every detail has been carefully considered – from the placement of poppers and openings to the choice of gentle, breathable organic fabrics. And, true to Kite’s style, we’ve used our colourful signature prints and stripes to create uplifting, playful designs that we hope bring a touch of comfort and normality during what can be a challenging time for families.

United States

We offer standard delivery to the US via Royal Mail and USPS for $9. Free for orders over $150.

Orders usually arrive within 5 - 8 business days.

All duties and taxes are included in the prices you see online, so there are no extra charges on delivery.


We hope that you love your order but if you need to return it for any reason we've tried to make it as easy as possible.

  • Returns can be made within 30 days of the receipt of your order.
  • Garments must be in their original condition and with labels intact.
  • If you are returning part of your order, the original delivery cost will not be refunded.
  • We can only accept returns for purchases made on our website.
  • Refunds will be made to the card used for the original order.
  • If you require an exchange, please return the original items to us, and place a new order for the required items. We will send out your new order as soon as possible and refund the original order once it has been received back.
  • If you have received a faulty item or have an issue with your order, please email us at info@kite-clothing.co.uk.

In the UK you can use our tracked returns service via Royal Mail. Please note, we deduct a £2.50 administration fee for each parcel received when we process your refund.

To return your items to us using our tracked returns service, you need to:

  1. Re-pack the items that you want to return (we suggest using the bag we sent the items in). Please ensure all garments are in their original condition with labels intact.
  2. Complete the returns information on your delivery note indicating the number of items being returned and the reason code, and then enclose with the parcel.
  3. Please visit www.kite-clothing.co.uk/returns-label to generate your returns label or arrange a free of charge collection (your postman will bring your printed label).
  4. You will be asked to confirm the size and dimensions of your return, as well as provide your order information and details of the return.
  5. You can either print your returns label yourself or go to the Post Office where it can be printed for you, or arrange a collection.
  6. If printed, apply your returns label to the largest side of your parcel and then either drop it at a Post Office branch or Royal Mail Customer Service Point, or have your parcel ready for collection if you have chosen that option.
  7. You'll then receive proof of posting which is required for all returns.
  8. We aim to process your refund within 5 working days of receiving your parcel, although during sale periods this can be a little longer. Once approved, the refund should then appear on your bank or credit card statement within 5-10 working days. This will include a deduction of £2.50 per parcel received.

For international returns you will need to pay for postage. To return your items you need to:
