Growing Brave SS26 Launch Event
SS26 Collection Launch: Growing Brave at Brothers Farm
On Tuesday 31st March, we welcomed friends of Kite to celebrate the launch of our SS26 collection, Growing Brave – and what a special day it was.
Set in the beautiful Flower Barn at Brothers Farm in Wimborne, the space was filled with dried flowers and soft, natural textures, creating the perfect backdrop for a collection inspired by resilience, confidence and taking those all-important first brave steps.
SS26 COLLECTION
Growing Brave brings together thoughtful design, joyful prints and pieces made for everyday adventures. Across both childrenswear and womenswear, the collection celebrates curiosity, self-expression and the magic of growing into who you are.
An afternoon of colour and creativity
During a beautifully warm spring afternoon, we welcomed 25 families to explore the collection with us and enjoy a series of thoughtfully planned activities.
After welcome drinks and time for a relaxed browse, children gathered for a special reading of The Turtle that Turned the Tide by children’s author Rachel Bright – a gentle, uplifting story about bravery and resilience that perfectly echoed the theme of the collection.
Next, it was time for activities. At the heart of the afternoon was our Bravery Bear Adoption Centre – a thoughtful space designed to gently open up conversations around big feelings. A selection of Bravery Bears were waiting to be chosen, each with a tag sharing their own little worry or fear. Children could pick a bear to adopt, give them a name, complete an adoption certificate and promise to help them feel a little braver. Each one had even been treated to a bubble bath and blow dry at Kite HQ, ready for their new home. It was a simple, heartfelt moment that beautifully brought the spirit of the collection to life.
Outside, we set up badge making, colouring and creative stations, including beeswax modelling clay kindly donated by Medenka, giving little ones plenty of space to explore and express their creativity.

Throughout the afternoon, refreshments were enjoyed by both parents and children, with Grounded Coffee Roasters showcasing their Decaf Nation blends alongside their single origin coffees. New Forest Tea Company also joined us, with their bubble tea and iced matcha lattes proving especially popular in the warm spring sunshine.
An evening of style tips and networking
As the day moved into evening, the barn transformed into a calm and welcoming space for our womenswear event. Guests were invited to browse the collection and connect with one another with a drink in hand.
We were delighted to be joined by Alice Nichol, also known as The Swish Stylist, who hosted a sustainable styling masterclass, sharing practical, easy ways to build a wardrobe that feels good and works for you.
We also welcomed makeup artist Olivia Sharp, who led a session on enhancing natural beauty for busy women, alongside a look at some of her favourite clean and sustainable makeup brands.
Together, these moments created a thoughtful and inspiring evening, centred around confidence, self-expression and feeling your best.
