Fashion Revolution Week
At Wardrobe Foundation, our aim is simple: to provide clothing support with dignity. Every gift bag is created with care. We consider size, age, height and circumstances — but importantly, we also consider style and colour preferences. The clothing we provide meets a practical and desperate need, but our hope is that each gift bag is also a bag of confidence.
We are so incredibly grateful to Kite for their ongoing commitment to supporting Wardrobe Foundation. Their pledge to provide 100 items of beautiful, high-quality, sustainable clothing every month helps us support local women who are in desperate need of clothing.
We work closely with local organisations and charities who are already doing incredible work to support those who need it most. Each gift bag contains around 20 items of clothing, and in the first quarter of 2026 alone, we have supported 150 women across Wessex.
This is why receiving clothing from a local brand like Kite is so valuable for the women we support. Their pieces bring joy, quality and comfort to so many local women who really need it.
As we mark Fashion Revolution Week, we’re reminded of the importance of keeping clothing in circulation — valuing what we already have and ensuring garments reach the people who need them most. Kite’s support helps us do exactly that: local supporting local, and fashion becoming a genuine force for good.
BCP Council, Drug and Alcohol Team"The clothes were really lovely. Thanks for all your efforts, I can imagine a lot goes on behind the scenes to produce such a wonderful bundle. Please send my gratitude out to all involved. You've provided something that has helped a person in more ways than clothing. For example self-worth, wearing lovely clothes, confidence, pride, feeling cared for and the list goes on."
